Movie Lists Make Better Movie Nights

I had fun compiling this list for Stella Maris. With an embarrassment of riches through the many streaming avenues, we can now watch anything, any time, anywhere. Which, of course, means it is almost impossible to decide what to watch.

The simple solution to this quandary is the movie list. Make your own, use some else’s, take a look at mine. Whatever you do, go in with a plan!

We recently rewatched “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” to universal approval. After the ardent recommendation from so many, we also started the recent BBC series “All Creatures Great and Small.” We thoroughly enjoyed the children’s version of the book, but I could not see how the show could be appropriate for young viewers. It was tastefully done thus far. So long as you’ve done your homework and are prepared to explain James being soused the first night and (for the city slickers) explaining why he’s putting his arm up to the shoulder into the cow’s birth canal…you’ll love it!
